The Purpose of the Missional Vital Signs:

Is to help church leaders increase their congregation’s through...........

1.) Faithfulness to our biblical mission, “Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” By focusing attention on the five core practices involved in cultivating mature followers of Jesus Christ, Missional Vital Signs helps leaders remain true to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

2.) Fruitfulness in fulfilling our biblical mission. By tracking one measurement for each practice, leaders gain a sense of whether their congregation is becoming more or less effective in carrying out the Great Commission.  Jesus made it clear in John 15:1-8 that fruitfulness is expected as part of faithfulness.

It is quickly approaching that time of the year again! Forms are now “live” on the Conference web page.
We ask that all completed forms be in our office 10 days prior to your Charge Conference date.  We are starting our conferences earlier this year so it doesn’t give you a whole lot of time – we apologize.
As in the past few years, we are meeting at “host” churches and having cluster meetings. Each host church has been asked to provide water, tea or coffee while the other churches all bring finger foods to share. The DS wants to stress the importance of coming to the Worship and Sharing time, the Fellowship and Refreshment time, as well as the individual conference for your church. Sharing with one another and fellowshipping together is beneficial for all.
